Honya-san could've been something special. Sadly it's the opposite. It's as if they just crammed in all tropes they could find in order to create the most generic comedy anime they could think of. There is just no heart in it. I'll give it one chance in the second ep but if that doesn't connect, it's dropped.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
