No one cares about Metroid anymore, it would not sell more than 600 or 700K.
Pokemon Snap would be interesting, but I don't see anyone paying a lot for it. It wouldn't make much money.
A Mario vs Sonic Platformer is as unreasonable as saying a Mario Kart vs. F-Zero racer, or a Starcraft vs Zelda crossover. They could do it, but one side or the other is going to be completely dissimilar to the original franchise, and it will just come off as a cheap attempt at a cash grab. Nintendo already has executed better ideas for crossover games like Smash and M&S Olympics.
A Pokemon MMO is not exactly a game Nintendo can just whip out in a year or two, this would take several years of development.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
