I wouldn't worry too much about such exploits. There have been in-game exploits and cheating devices that make acquiring anything and everything a snap since Gen 1. Doesn't do you much good outside of free battles in competitive play, though. Just about every game mode with rules bans Mewtwo and his ilk. And even more important than that, every game mode except free battle keeps you from using more than one Pokemon with the same Pokedex #.
