This isn't hard to answer if you know what's going on economically in Japan. Its hurting everything over there, not just the game's industry but the game's industry has been hit hard by it and its killing an already limping along console market, WiiU also lost most if not all of its momentum. Handhelds were hurt just as much, and mobile is going to get kicked in the nutsack when the tax kicks in on digital in 2015.
