Don't question EAD Tokyo. This is like asking why anyone would want Mario Galaxy 2 when the Wii already had Mario Galaxy.

Some people would legitimately ask that question, which is unfortunate.

I'm questioning him, actually. Galaxy 2 came out 30 months after Galaxy 1, but the proposed release window he suggests he's hoping for is a full 6 months shorter.

From a development perspective it would be pretty soon for another Mario game, but he is just hoping for a new EAD Tokyo game, as everyone should be at all times.
