bolded: hahahahahahahhahaha You never stop trying to downplay wii u graphics. what's the point of using cross gen multiplats as an example for wii u and then comparing then with ps4/xone multis while ignoring wii u games that actually push graphics? FINAL FANTASY XV??? REALLY??? final fantasy fv is on parity with xenoblade X. xv pushes better looking characters, X pushes much bigger and filled areas. bold 2: it's a terrible strategy regardless bold 3: nope, only 3d world was called system seller. stop lying about people saying sales would explode with pikmin and w101. and mario kart 8 did it's job. |
bold 1: If that's what you want to think go ahead. No point in even arguing this. You might want to do some research of TDP, die-size, and wattage, unless Nintendo is using magical Nintendium in their chip, a 33-watt chip is simply not going to be able to compete with a more modern 200 watt GPU that pumps out 1.8 teraflops of performance.
bold 2: Well it's not my strategy, get used to it though because I suspect in 2 years you'll do an about face and say what a great strategy it is after being shown the product.
bold 3: People have been saying the Wii U just needs games for sales to boost big time since day 1. It has gotten several big releases and each time there's been a modest boost followed by sales sinking back into the toliet again a month or two later. Case in point even with Mario Kart 8, GameCube outsold the Wii U overall for the equivalent summer (summer 2003 vs. summer 2014) even though the GameCube had no notable releases for this period.
