Will Nintendo finally fix their software output for Wii U in 2015?

he posted with all the words about how nintendo "could have an installed base of 70 million (final) for its games to sell, instead of 7 million. it was as if 7 million was wii u's final ltd. that's why it was stupid.

by the end of the year, the naysayers will be pretty quiet with their sub 30 million predictions for wii u.

First of all, you need to actually read and comprehend what people are saying in their posts. 

Define "leaps and bounds" better. Some games look nice on the Wii U, while many multi-plat games look worse. Looking at 2015 PS4/X1 games that are expressly built for the system and aren't cross-generation titles, there's a fairly large gap between the Wii U and the PS4/X1 (see: Final Fantasy XV). Since Nintendo won't give their actual specs (I wonder why), this is fairly subjective issue, but I'd say the Wii U is like the GameCube/XBox compared to the 360/PS3 being the PS2. Games like Rogue Squadron II and RE4 looked notably better on the GameCube vs. most PS2 games, but no one would consider it a generational leap. 

My point with the Fusion analogy is if this generation was a "Fusion" generation, then Nintendo would have a wider base to sell many of their "console" projects to. The 3DS today has 44 million shipped units, the Wii U only has 7 million. If that were combined under a Fusion umbrella strategy that would mean a game like Bayonetta 2 would have a userbase of about 45-46 million (assuming some overlap between the two products). I don't think you're dumb enough to argue against that since it's pretty basic math. That's all I was saying about that. 

Every year there's one "hero poster" here who is die-hard about the Wii U is going to finish within 30-40 million LTD even though it's tracking way below the GameCube and that only finished at 22 million. In my experience on this board, that person is usually the one who's gone and stops posting in about 8-12 months, not the other way around. 

We've heard it all on this board "wait for Pikmin and Wonderful 101! Then sales will explode!", then "Wait for Wii Party U, Zelda: WWHD, and Mario 3D World! Sales will explode!", then "wait for DKC, sales will pick up!", then "wait for Mario Kart 8, sales will definitely peak", but really at no one point has the system ever outsold the GameCube for any sustained stretch. In almost 2 years on market, it's only had one or two months better than the GameCube in North America, and that was barely at that and it not performing well at all in Europe or Japan.
