No developer in the world is capable of releasing 10-12 quality games on two seperate platforms.
Not Sony, not EA, not Activision, no one.
It's kind of a wonder that Nintendo has even be able to manage for so long, but they're coming to the point where it's completely untenable.
It was more workable 8-9 years ago when they could basically just port old SNES games to the Game Boy every once in a while and get a Pokemon game out now and again and that was good enough, but now the 3DS requires as much time/effort as basically a console would.
