I think that`s kinda the point though. Square has constantly preached that this is a realistic fantasy and a more darker game since its VXIII days. I do agree that it looks vastly different from previous FFs and that much of the fantasy may be lost. But I kinda like the new direction this game is taking.

Im not saying it will be bad but im kinda used to old fashioned FF like most fans, it just has more heart and love in it more mystery and everything..
