Yes. I liked Phil Simms until last Sundays Broncos-Chiefs game. The guy obviously was openly hoping the Chiefs would come back and win the game. It was a terrible mess from a guy that is suppossed to remain objective. I think there are over 30,000 signatures to not have him back. He even came out and said I am not rooting for the Chiefs here, probably because his own bosses, staff and collaegues were picking up on the bias. I have talked to others at work that feel the same, and my dad and I commented about it a lot during the latter part of the game. |
Right result, wrong reason. You shouldn't want him gone because he hates your team, you should want him gone because he's just a nudge about Joe Buck as a commentator. Less arrogant, but even more ignorant.
