Nintendo doesn't need to do anything but collaborate with third parties about their hardware so that it can be affordable and still pump out the latest games so their gamers don't need to buy competitors consoles. That has been Nintendo's biggest problem for the past twenty years. Their ignorance is the problem. First and second party games are not the issue. They also need a second party western branch to make exclusives for them like Rare unlike Retro which dredges up the past.
