Legs legs legs:

>Yokai Watch 2

>Yoshi's NEW Island

>Super Smash Bros. for 3DS

We'll see if Pokemon OR/AS continues the trend of legs.

I see no reason to doubt Pokemon legs.

Well, I don't see X and Y in the weekly charts anymore, and OR/AS preorders haven't even opened yet, as far as I know.

More importantly, it now has to compete against Yokai Watch 2.

X/Y released long before the other games you named except for Yokai Watch 1, which had an extremely slow start, didn't pick up in sales until after X/Y's release, and is clearly coasting on the hype from Yokai Watch 2.

As phenomenal as Yokai Watch 1 & 2's sales are, every 'new generation' Pokemon release (Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, Diamond/Pearl, Black/White, X/Y) has, to date, outsold Yokai Watch 1 & 2 combined (in Japan alone of course). That said, we're not looking at a new generation Pokemon release, we're looking at a remake.

It's hard to create a trend for Pokemon remake sales when there have only been two, and when the gen 2 remakes outsold the gen 1 remakes despite the original gen 1 titles greatly outselling the original gen 2 games. But I don't think ORAS will have much trouble competing with Yokai Watch 2.

(Yokai Watch 2 is outpacing FR/LG, but is not keeping up with HG/SS. If we attribute the discrepancy between gen 1 and gen 2 sales vs their remakes to the difference in GBA and DS install base, I think we can expect ORAS sales to be closer to FR/LG, if not somewhere in the middle.)
