It's still not beating PS4 because of the Destiny bundle... the basic PS4 is down because more people are buying the Destiny bundle instead, but still the free game deal has helped XB1 must have boosted sales a lot.
MS had to do this deal to make sure PS4 doesn't beat XB1 by 3 to 1 in September NPD 
. Will probably still beat it by a good 1.5~2.0 to 1.
