Every system increases in the fall, big whoop.

You want to see a real monster at work, go look at PS2's November/December 2001 and lets see the PS4 try to keep pace with that.

They had a great launch but the sales in 2014 after the launch honeymoon wore off haven't impressed me much. Sorry if you can't deal with that without throwing a hissy fit. PS2 is a much better example of a very good launch followed by extremely strong second year of sales consistently knocking out 300k+ in even traduitionally slower months like its nothing.

Again why are you bringing up PS2????? HAs nothing to do with the discussion. If comparing it to the ps2 is all you can do to discredit ps4 then I rest my case.

The ps4 when it hits 299 and lower will sell gangbusters, perios...ps2 was a freak, never going to happen again so why do you keep breinging it up? out of arguments? It sold 160 mill and was a one ina  lifetime seller.......that's your argument? really? So if a console doesn;t sell like ps2 it's weak? lol.

Again you keep ignoring the front loaded sales, made for less now, instead of less early and more in the summer as they were still catching up to demand......why do you keep ignoring that? If ps4 had 360 or ps3 supply it would be selling triple what it is now.

Why are you so defensive?

So what if someone doesn't grovel at the Sony altar, this is a sales site, of course we are going to discuss and compare the current market leader versus previous market leaders. Saying you can't do that is a cop out.

PS4 has had ample supply for a long time too, if had 3x the systems, all that would happen would it would have a sh*t ton of consoles on the storeshelves collecting dust. The only system I can recall still having supply issues into its first August/September period would be the Wii.
