Never payed FF12.. well, i enjoyed the game (XC) and i've never met someone who has hated it. You are the first bro :D
The Combat system works perfectly for me, it was well balanced, neither easy or frustrating :)

To be fair I am rating it solely on it's combat system. I don't know about the story, I've heard nothing but good things. I just couldn't get in to it because of the combat, same problem I had with FF12. Long RPGs like those really need to have a combat system you like since you'll be using it a lot.

Understood, of course if you don't like the cs you can't enjoy the game. :)
