- Amiibo will be integrated into as many first party games as possible henceforth. Smash is only a starting point.

- I think it's largely because of Amiibo, but I also think that by now, they must have piled up a list of features they regret not including in the original 3DS. I mean, look how quickly after launch they released the circle pad pro. With 2 new shoulder buttons, boosted CPU power, NFC, better 3D viewing angles and a C-stick, its almost a new console. Then again, the same could be said about the DSi if compared with the original DS, so I agree with those who say this isn't out of the norm looking at Nintendo's history. I just hope the New 3DS has a much better audio output than the original 3DS. Might give me a reason to finally buy an XL....my 3DS is the regular size
