I feel sorry for those who got a 3DS recently.

To be real, yeah that does suck. I mean i think anybody that purchased one awhile back doesn't mind as much cuz its literally new HW, but for those that just bought it..... Especially in japan where it is coming out in 6 weeks.

Its just like X1 consumers before the announcement of SKU less Kinect O.o

I booght a 3DS in 2011 and I mind to upgrade just to play a couple of new games, as long as they just release Xenoblade plus a couple fo minor games to make the new model more attractive I'm fine, but if this mean they won't support the regular 3DS anymore with major 1st party titles they have lost my support, at least for the next few years.

Nah, they'll continue to support both 3DS and N3DS. There will be at least a 50mil+ userbase for 3ds (excluding N3DS), and its not like Nintendo or every company will make it so N3DS is the only system to work for there games.

N3DS is to make certain games do alot better, especially with the amiibos. Monster Hunter + SSB is perfect for this system for example, many hardcore fans will upgrade for these games.

Beside Xenoblade and i think any GCN/Wii Ports will need this HW only. I think personally F Zero GX would be insanely perfect for N3DS for example.

I really dont believe Nintendo will do more than 20% of their games for exclusive pn the N3DS. Pokemon Would definitely benefit from the N3DS thougb. It needs that POWER :)
