Lets say assume a May 2016 launch (Japan), I could see them getting Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy 3, Animal Crossing Next, and Luigi's Mansion 3 for the year fairly easily. The next EAD Tokyo Mario and a new Animal Crossing are both overdue by 2016, really so should Next Level Games' next project.

It would certainly be the anti-Wii U/3DS launch window. 

What about the 15+ million Wii U owners that they just pissed off that they only got 3 and half years of content on a system they paid $300-350.

Doesn't matter how stacked the next console is, if they  don't get returning customers, it'll flop.

More like it'll be maybe 100,000 people with a stick up their rear end who are upset by that, most people won't mind that early adopters of the new Nintendo handheld can play the same Zelda game, most people won't care. 

I'm sure there are some GameCube die-hards who are still upset that Twilight Princess wasn't GameCube-only like they felt entitled too, but the fact is moving it to be a dual GCN/Wii release was a far, far, faaaaar smarter business decision. 

Another cool thing Nintendo could do, if you buy the Wii U version, perhaps you could get the Fusion version for free, that way when/if you buy the Fusion handheld, you can play it on the go now too.
