You know that's not true right? The latest 3D Mario game hasn't even got to 3 million yet and considering Wii U sales will probably never reach 10 million. Not a 10 million per game franchise, not anymore at least.

Yet, the 3d mario on the 3ds has (all but) done 10million, and you're picking on the weakest kink in Mario's armor. There has been 13 mario games that broke 10 million (more than any other franchise) with a further 3 within spitting distance, 2 of which will break this milestone in the near future (6 months or so). So if you're going to argue that mario isn't a 10 mpg franchise you can say there aren't any at all, which would be silly.
