The article missed the other big part of Wii U owners: kids.
I don't get 3rd party games for my Wii U because I have a PS4, PS3, XB360, PC, etc. But my son and his friends play Wii U more than I do, and their parents (me included) are not buying hardcore action & shooter games for them to play.
