On a related note, I'm enjoying the Battle of the Quarterback Whisperers we've got going on here. I don't see Jimmy Clausen, Blaine Gabbert, or Matt Cassel ever amounting to much in the NFL, although the last one may make a decent effort at respectability.

One thing's for certain.  Gabbert will always be horrible.  The other two might have careers holding clipboards and wearing baseball caps.

It's been fun to watch Niners' fans reactions to his performances so far. Not that there was a lot of faith in the guy to begin with, but Gabbert's competition for the backup spot(s) make Blainey the likely #2 come September, to much local consternation.
