The reason Link is right handed is because the game will probably optionally allow Wiimote controls - To the extent of Twilight Princess Wii, most likely.
This isn't an amazing discovery or hard to figure out, as Nintendo can use Wiimote controls with any Zelda game. It doesn't have to mean it's to the Skyward Sword level where it defined the game.
