What is happening to gaming, you ask? Well, it is evolving into a medium with more than just meaningless content as it was in the past. But there is still a long way to go for the industry. The video game industry matures just like a human being. Maybe you got stucked in the past, in the 80s? I don't know, but you should think about that...to talk about such gorgeous games like Rime, Tearaway Unfolded, WiLD etc. in the way you do is ludicrous. Of course, everyone has the right to have their own taste and opinion on games, but objectivity must be maintained too.
The showings at gamescom, especially at Sony's conference were great in my opinion. Actually surprised by the high number of new game announcements. An interesting and diverse game lineup.
