You're picking fights. MS started that war with COD and the early DLC to the Xbox 360. Joe was right and he owns both next gen MS and Sony consoles. He's getting Tomb Raider anyway, but he'd rather play it on PC. This is his first gen owning a Sony console and even he has to admit Microsoft plays around too much with gamers. Most of his rants this gen have been about MS since the start because MS is acting like a true anti-consumer company. They just can't help themselves. Spencer had to clear the air today that Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive. This means they needed a game to use to compete against Uncharted because they have nothing to combat against it. The way they worded it was wrong like it was a true exclusive and when MS says exclusive its always suspect because they are always screwing over gamers just to measure up to the competition. |
Who am I picking a fight with? You say the strangest things sometimes...
Who´s worse, the starting a war or the one maintaining it? But that might be a topic for another thread. I personally don´t have a problem with MS or Sony doing these delas. I annoyed the hell out of me when Sony basically bought timed exclusivity to alot of games during the Saturn days but in hindsight, I completely understand why they did it.
With the Destiny DLC, as I understand it, some content will be locked WITHIN the DLC we on the XBox side buy for a full year. That is actually a company (Sony), paying another company (Activision) to prevent consumers that buy a product to even get the full product. I have personally never heard of such a thing and seems like the next "dirty" step that overshadows anything in moneyhatting of games, deals thet gets DLC to some ahead of others and so on.
It would be like bying a game but you won´t be able to play all the stages for a year because a competing company has payed the publisher to do so. I am actually amazed that it is even legal.
