Spreading exclusives out over time is actually smart business from Sony.

I find that the problem with Sony owners always wanting exclusives is because Sony lacks that dominant multiplayer game (outside of last of us) that really resonates and is played religiously. MS can have two exclusives come out in a year and the truer fans wouldn't complain because those two games have utility for the whole year and beyond until the next installment. Because Sony makes single player games so well and so often, the action/adventure, RPG, artsy, indie and story based game loving fans gobble up the games jumping from game to game in a rabid fashion until everything is gone. During the last gen the Xbox had popular games but it was a handful of popular exclusives. With Sony every spread like termites which is why the sales were so sporadic. Hopefully Sony finds a remedy for this in the new gen. I think its smart that they are holding back on exclusives not just for monetary reasons but also for reasons of marketing and hype. The Order has gained quite the bit of hype over the past two years and Sony still isnt finished teasing. The new teaser looks amazing. It took two years to get me hyped for that game and pushing it back is only going to make it sweeter.
