Wish some of those franchises could make a comeback as i would like to play or even replay Wave Race, F-Zero, Mario Strikers and Earthbound and others, but i don`t honestly think Nintendo is going to invest in some of those franchises: Wii U`s userbase just isn`t big enough to make a decent profit on some franchises.
Wii U sales aren`t that high to make it last until 2018.
The slow sales for Wii U and lack of big software by Nintendo, in 2 years, won`t sustain sales high enough to make games profitable.
