It was a given that was going to happen. You can't make a sequel exclusive to a console it's never been on before and not have previous installments.

 

And the fact that Miis are so customizable just leads me to believe they won't see the need to do the same for the Villager.

I 100% disagree with your first comment. It wasnt a given at all, just a request.  It was very generous and a smart move by Nintendo.

As for the "You can't make a sequel exclusive to a console it's never been on before and not have previous installments" this is so untrue. This has never happened before. Name 1-3 games in the same situation. (Meaning a brand new sequel that had another previous installment free)

For mii's, yes they dont need to do it for villager. Mii's gimmick is the whole Customization. If they add stuff to villager, thats a cool extra feature, but im glad that the team is working on the more important aspects of the game. (Not to be confuse with me not wanting extra features!)
