Not liking something is completely different from hating something. I know its cliche but hate is a really strong word. And do you really want a popular indie game to have that much control over your life that whenever you hear its name your blood boils or something like that? Its just a game. No need to "hate" it. I dont care for Minecraft at all and have never played it in my life. If its popular after this long then there's something there people like, and I respect that.

Hate is a strong word for some people. I hate tonnes of things. Johhny Test, nostalgia-nerds, the final season of Hannah Montana, par-boiled rice, etc. You're putting the words ""has control over your life"" into his words and mine.
