Why are people saying the 3DS is selling badly?

It has outsold it so far. It's the fastest selling console ever released vs. the highest selling console ever. It's a valid comparison.

And...the PS4 was never compared to the PS2 where it needed to sell similarly to not be a failure.

1. PS4 is PS3's successor, not PS2's.

2. Just you wait, PS4 will be compared with PS2 once or if it starts falling behind...

3. You keep repeating this "failure" commentary as if people have been calling the 3DS a failure.

I'm definitely using faliure more than I should. Though I still think calling the 3DS sales ""bad"" is odd.
