Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, if you you haven't watched it yet. It's pretty much mandatory for all anime fans.

If you are looking for some new stuff, Aldnoah.Zero, Barakamon, Majimori Rurumo, and Zankyou no Tokyo are all amazing this season.

Haha even my sisters fiance said I need to watch it and he dosent even watch anime.

Then you best listen to him. A lot of people consider it anime's greatest masterpiece.
