I think it's all part the plan sadly. Now that Israel has diminished the thread of Hamas they will now prepare to defend or move on Syria/Iraq when the time is there. That's probably what the U.S. is counting on anyway.
It's sickening how many people have to suffer for the ambitions of a few.
