| Dusk said: For the first sentence, not the entire post or else it would be "Selektive Memory: The Sony Playstation 4 2013" It was an entirely different paragraph. Its called Selektive memory, because it is recalling the previous year. 2014 is irrelevant. Both the X1 and PS4 controllers are reguarded as better than their predecessors. To include one and omit the other is biased. Except, this a thread completely focused on the PS4, in the Sony Discussion subforum, I never even mentioned the XB1 or Wii U by name in the OP Personal experience said different. I'm fully aware of economics and laws supply and demand. My personal experience shows different from what was said about this. This is isn't up to debate, to much supply = lost money, not enough supply = lost money, equilibrium = maximum that is not debatable. Again, not cheaper by $100 compared to it's closest competitor, it was $50 more than the Wii U. Just because you choose not to include it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Power has never been a differentiating factor with consoles, and USUALLY the weakest have been the most successful. The Wii U is not its nearest competitor simply because the PS4 and XB1 were released much more closely togehther. I never said anything about it being determined by power. Also : http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/28/nintendo-wii-u-price-drop/ Again, every console this gen has been inviting to indies. Why exactly is that relevant? This thread only concerns the PS4. Lastly, it's spelled selective, not selektive.
