You need to have a chip that can drive a 2560x1600 while gaming though. That's not so easy. Not with it having more than 30 minutes of battery life.
1280x720 is good PPI for a screen in the vicinity of 5.7 inches or so, to achieve Wii U level graphics Nintendo will probably have to run games at a lower resolution even, like 960x540. This is also a device that has to be sold for under $250, maybe under $200 too from day 1.
