Read the whole post. Backwards compatibity is just a term that describes emulation of a consoles predecessors, streaming is simply emulation on another machine across a network, which is cheaper then the other forms but has a reliance on internet connection. The Wii U to Fusion compiler that I suggested would be more expensive then streaming, and not true emulation, but it would be cheaper then other forms of on system emulation and provide a similar and arguably better effect.


As I said streaming is no solution. Besides Fusion was proven fake anyways so I have no idea why you keep quoting it. Streaming creates latency and you can not assume everyone will have access to this. When a good portion of good Nintendo games are platformers this absolutely kills that genre as with FPS and fighters because they all require precision that you can not get with a Streaming gaming. FPSes suffered on Onlve because of this
