 They have better taste, otherwise call of duty,bf and some other generic games would be a sucess there, but they prefer rpg/puzzle/strategic games, in other words, games that really make a good use of your brain.

So why does COD and BF do better than nearly every RPG/puzzle/strategy game released in Japan?

Really? i never saw any cod or bf outselling none of pokemon, monster hunter, yokai watch series.

Thanks for proving my point. You named the most popular games. There are hundreds others that fail to reach 100k (i.e. COD and Battlefield go anywhere from 200-400k)
