First of all let me start by saying this... This thread is made to show anybody who's interested in knowing characters that have a chance to be playable in SSB. This list is guaranteed by no means and is 100% opinionated to my best knowledge.
There is also no bias at all here cuz if there was, Geno would be at the #1 Spot! That Said all characters shown have a Chance, but its not like some have a good chance, but overall just makes sense....... LETS BEGIN!
These 2 list are what i thought was the most reasonable characters to make it in the game at a certain time... (Not My Most Wanted, but Most Realistic for me!)

Runner Up: Mega Sceptile
Why This pokemon? Well its the only one that makes sense now imho if you exclude the missing veterans. It also would complete the trio of types and is probably going to be the most popular starter overall in the upcoming OR/AS Remakes.
Runner Up: Geno
Sounds biased but if their were another third party rep, i think Geno is the best option. 1 its a SE rep and srry guys Sora doesn't cut it for this game. 2. Was with Mario in the game SMRPG on the SNES so it works. 3. Probably one of the strongest Candidates for SSB overall.
10. Ridley
Only character (maybe Dark Samus too) that literally should represent the Metroid Franchise excluding Samus herself! The Too Big Excuse always comes into play, but what alot of people dont realize is that he's the biggest most requested character of the franchise!
9. Ghirahim/Demise (or some other LoZ Character but probably not)
I dont think will get more LoZ characters as i believe Ganondorf will return and have 5 reps, but if they do decide i can see Ghirahim join the fray!
