it really is a pity how narrow minded people viewed this beta.  complaining of not much to do while ignoring the array of options to be had.  Messing around with high level guys,   exploring the bounds to find obscure places they hid a chest, which could very well have dope gear in the final release.   stealing a pike and roaming the cosmo.  Battling the death walker by yourself. public events and bounties,   Achieving a high grimoir against some of the tougher enemies,   Finding all the ghosts they've hiden around.  Plus the crucible only offered a taste of what is to come.  I loved the iron banner, as i got to see how my gear was compared to others,  somegames were really tough, while others were pure domination lol

This was a beta, and it must have confused some as it seems like such a smooth running game. lol

Well, I looked at this game like an open world game for a while, trying to explore "obscure" places for chests and whatnot, but I kept running into invisible walls and "out of bounds" areas. A game like this shouldn't be designed in a way that blocks you with invisible walls, it should say to the player "what you see is what you can explore", but it doesn't and that is a pretty big flaw. Any game this focused on exploration should let me explore where ever I want, not where it tells me to. Also, the free-roam missions were boring and repetitive and didn't really give me any reason to play through them other than grinding.

PVP was good, but it didn't really feel like anything special...It was just another FPS game. Similar with the single player, the problem is that there is a lot of hype surrounding this game and it seems to just be ordinary instead of extraordinary.

Most of this stuff wont change between now and release...at this point, they will likely be tweaking balance and patching bugs and whatnot, not altering the game in any meaningful way. Betas are for marketing more than they are for testing.
