Opinion Thread: Overrated RPGs?

I disagree. It is slightly overrated, but it was a very solid FF in all respects. The story wasn't groundbreaking but got the job done. Gameplay mechanics are what you can expect from a turn based RPG with a few new tricks here and there; leveling up system was flexible; graphics were great for its time as well voice acting even though now it sounds terrible, no one cared back then. It's a very decent FF and does the job very well, but not the best FF.

Don't get me wrong, I do think there are some good aspects about FFX! The battle system is the best in the entire franchise, the soundtrack is still pretty decent, the visuals are pretty good and some of the characters are pretty good ( Auron for example)! I simply think that it gets too much praise at times! It's still a decent JRPG in my opinion!
