I'm just responding to someone else's post. People recently have been talking about PS4 dominance. It is dominating the marketplace so much so that people are now comparing the Xbox One sales PLUS the Wii U sales to the PS4 sales. This topic has led a lot of people to a lot of confusion. All I'm saying is this. Ex: Let's say the PS4 has sold 9 units so far, while the Wii U has sold 6 units and the Xbox one has sold 5 units.

PS4: 9, Wii U: 6, Xbox One: 5

Then, next week (or next month, or next year, whatever you want to say, it's just an example) the PS4 sells 7 units, the Wii U sells 4 units, and the Xbox One also sells 4 units. Now...

PS4: 16, Wii U: 10, Xbox One: 9

So in that timeframe, the Wii U PLUS the Xbox One outsold the PS4. Now it gets tricky, so listen real good (Sandslash, Hitmonlee, Psyduck, Arcanine...O.K., I'll stop). Before we tacked on the 7 - 4 - 4, the Wii U and Xbox One combined had a lead of 2 units over the PS4 and the PS4 had a 45% marketshare. Now, after adding the next round of sales in (the 7 - 4 - 4), the Wii U PLUS the Xbox One has a lead of 3 units over the PS4 but the PS4's marketshare went up to 45.71%. So did the gap widen or narrow? You tell me. The gap between the combined Wii U and Xbox One units sold vs. the PS4 units sold widened in favor of the Wii U/Xbox One. It widened by 1 unit. But the gap between the combined Wii U and Xbox One marketshare vs. the PS4 marketshare narrowed. It went from a 10% gap to an 8.57% gap. So did the gap widen or narrow? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Why does Fred from Scooby-Doo where an ascot?

These are questions we will never know the answer to.
