PSP was cheaper than the PS3, had similar games, and for a while, was selling more.

GB and PSP were different enough. 3DS is too similar, as is Vita to PS3, and when that happens, one of the two gets cannibalized.

But we can see no cannibalization in the data. You can argue the outcome of the similar libraries all you want, but the real outcome is already in the data.
