So much thinkings in something purely based in business and localization,Capcom is not dumb,they (supposedly) take their software business decisions with a corporative objective,that's why they don't release avery single game they have in all the platforms,they surely decide with coldness what kind of game goes for every system.
And about the petitions,I don't feel so warm about this,minus with Capcom,they don't say ahything about Bionic Commando on Wii,and they give a shit about the online petitions about a Resident Evil for PSP (and let me remember to all of you that they say the same -getting old by now- "sign it,we're watching...perhaps.." meeehhh...or what about Dead Rising for PS3?or the non-release for DMC 4 in 360?Even being for many different purposes,Capcom say something but shows the other thing...
But hell,I believe it would be cool for Wii's owners to play RE5.
