You could rarely find any bug in a game before they entered the market, now even AAA-titles suffer from game breaking bugs and crashes and you get less for you money in general and have to pay extra for everything. Well, that is simply just not true. Bugs occured everywhere all the time in the 90´s, there are even tricks do ghet through Mario64 in like 10 minutes using built in bugs :).
All the other practices are things that came before them or that others have emulated. Putting the blame on the one who was first is a cheap cop-out and a way to take blame away from those that just waited until someone made the move first, then went in to take the profits and none of the blame.
