Exactly. It's a conflict of interest: you got to platinum because you probably bought a ton of games, the majority of them likely Nintendo games. So why would Nintendo offer the games we either already bought, or didn't buy because we weren't interested enough? Luckily for me, I held off on getting a couple that I'm interested in.
It would have been better if we just got a certain amount of eShop credit or something, or even better, a free amiibo when they launch.
