Releasing one Smash Metroid or Zelda a gen is not called competing. They need constant flow and variety, wiiu shows just how bad they are at that.  They missed the whole FPS console rise, Splattoon is only a deacade and a half to late.  

What's a better character action game? DMC3 possibly. We know Bayonetta two is already better than the first by a longshot thanks to hands on time with it. It's made by the guys who litereally created the genre.

I also happen to like the longevity of Smash. I felll out of fighting games because they repackage a lot of sh*t that could easily be patches and add a word to the title. Forgive me if I wouldn't be jumping for joy for a Super Duper Smash Bros. Hyper the World: The Arcade Edition.

They could just focus on building the proper base and aquiring third parties to make the titles they need. Nintendo has also been working hard to put out Second party titles.

One game and you call it it the be end all of the genre, lol as i said no matter what you are blind.

Lack of FPS really helping them now aint it.  How long did it take for PS4 to out sael wiiu ?
