| clapiotis said: The warranty time period for European wii systems is indeed 2 years. I've had the same problem with my wii (not reading some discs). Sent it to the Greek Nintendo 8/12/07. One week later they called me informing me that due to a serious problem it had to be sent to the German Nintendo. They gave me a new wii in order to be able to play with friends and family during the holidays, that's what they said. The gave it to me under one condition though. I shouldn't connect the wii to the internet. On January 8th, one month later, I received back my wii via courier service and gave back theirs. Opening the big envelope I realised that they didn't send me my wii but a new one with a new wii number as well. The wii friends list was nowhere to be found, but all my vc games were waiting to be redownloaded and my balance reamained intact. I certainly felt very satisfied with their free service. |
Problem is that according to Kenzo's profile, he lives in the US.
Europe seems to have much better warranty plans than we Americans do... I hate this Country. :p
