People who actually care about the game, and care about the developer, will be disappointed but they should get why this is happening. I don't even really know what people are asking for. Do they want to hurt the developer by having them delay the entire game and miss the holidays? Do they want the developer to release a Wii U version that isn't ready? The only real mistake the developer has made is not having a PR person deliver the new with polished, flowery words and phrasing that can't be twisted. That's a problem for most small developers, though. |
Doesnt matter how much they sugarcoat it. The message was very clear. If you want it for the WiiU, then you will wait for the game because its all youre gonna get.
Why do you think this game wont sell as well on the WiiU compared to other platforms? Im guessing its because you know that third party games dont tend to do very well on the WiiU.
Same reason why I think you dont care about the WiiU or Nintendo, because people like you are usually the ones taking the developers side when they are clearly the ones to blame in all this.
They had to delay the game because they wanted to make it the best they can. Thats fine. Some were probably a bit disappointed and wondered why, but treating the people who helped you fund and advertise your game like this is unacceptable. Plain and simple.
