1. I play on the Subway if I feel certain I won't be robbed...
2. I'm in graduate school; I have enough going for me that a stranger who thinks I'm pathetic or wasting my life can have a seat...
3. If I'm not playing on the subway, it's because I either don't feel like it or think I might get robbed...
