I have a theory that it converts things into energy, and that is why the juicing process looks like we're watching it on the ship's monitor. Because its happening in cyber-space.

Primarily that the game was begged for as is.
If it does well or scores well then making games based on adaptions to its formula would be awesome; but given how many of us begged on Mii-Verse for Nintendo to turn the Captain Toad levels into a full game there would likely be backlash if they broke away too much from what they originally made. - I know I'd be annoyed, I value the idea of there being more games like this one, and if indies, or third parties, or Nintendo, or Sony, or Microsoft were to make games based on exploring the basics of the core ideas here I'll be delighted; as long as its not at the expense of changing this from what I freakin' begged for. That would make Nintendo like the worst Dom ever!
I strongly value new ideas and do believe that series need to stay fresh, but this series hasn't even had a game yet, just an accidental demo that lead to its creation. Changing it too far would get a fairly dark death glare from consumers.
You're clearly a smart guy, you should realize that the colder/angry responses you're getting are from people who feel like they fought for Nintendo to hear our desire for this game to happen; that means its formula not only wowed us, but in many cases we're defensive of it because we feel we fought for Nintendo to stand up and take notice of the incredible formula they'd made. - Despite the fact its gonna be a small-fry title, those of us who absolutely loved it's progenitor will defend it from suggestions of extensive alteration like you were suggesting Banjo-Threeie be about cars. XD
