They used to take an idea and really run with it, but now it's all about condensing one idea into a simple, straightforward experience. It's like they just stopped caring to take the time to craft a full game, because everyone was just buying New Super Mario Bros. games anyway. This is a great example of something that could have been so much more. Instead it's a mini game disguised as a retail game. |
And because they are struggling mightily to recoup the costs of HD games.
