Wii U may have started off like that but will recover. I actually forsee many XB1/PS4 owners picking up a Wii U later in its life once a price cut occurs and the library increases. Though Wii U will never sell like it's older brother, I don't think it will sell less than GameCube. Hell, I see it beating N64 in the long run


The Wii U and Wii were offered to two completely different crowds. See the third party and first party sales between the two to see what I mean. One was sold to non-gamers who dont following gaming and the other console was too niche but had the core Nintendo following like the GC and N64 before it. It will beat the Gamecube at best but it wont beat the N64.
